First Day:
- Drove to Blue Water Bridge, 15 minute wait time (awesome)
- Drove to Imlay, Michigan (been there before to eat at Lucky’s, surf and turf Lobster/Steak for $15) to check out this new restaurant (Mulefoot Bar, delicious but small in portions and expensive)
- Drove to our Hotel (Wyngate) at 4pm (started to get sleepy), Hotel gave us fresh baked cookies upon arrival, hot hor dourves at 6pm, our own private pool and hot tub. Very nice, very warm, very spacious.
- Glad we slept over. Felt not rushed. If we drove straight through, we would’ve arrived in Chicago (to purchase iPass) at 8pm, eat Fast Food (McD’s), and driving an extra hour to the Hyatt, check in at 9:30pm, missed the pool, and crashed on the bed.
- On the flip side, we wouldn’t have lost 5 hrs of activity in Chicago and went to the Children’s Museum tomorrow instead of the Free Zoo.
